    Buckley Systems custom designs and manufactures all types of resistive, precision electromagnets for accelerator and laboratory use. We’ve even worked to develop new manufacturing specialties including resin cast, AC magnets and pioneering EDM wire cutting for precision shaping of multipole tips. We can work with you to determine whether copper wire, strip or hollow conductor is right for your coil and size the conductor to deliver correct magnetic field with appropriate cooling and the lowest total cost of ownership.

  • Our copper strip dimensions range from 0.25mm to 1.5mm thick and up to 65mm wide, with other sizes available on request.

  • Standard wire dimensions range from 0.25mm to 8.4 mm, with other sizes available on request.

  • Hollow core conductor copper dimensions range in sizes from 4mm x 4mm to 26mm x 14mm, with other sizes available on request.
